How it works
Choose an image, then change its width or height. Keep proportions updates the other dimension. Fit within an area uses maximum dimensions; Crop to fill trims the edges. Check New size before resizing, then download.
Example
4000 × 3000 → width 1200 → 1200 × 900
When to use this tool
Prepare a 1200-pixel photo for a newsletter.
Supported formats & limits
Static JPEG, PNG, WebP and browser-decodable AVIF; HEIC/HEIF uses a locally loaded WASM decoder. Up to 20 MiB per image, 24 megapixels, 20 files sequentially. Lower limits apply on limited devices. Re-encoding removes source metadata; color profiles, HDR, and high bit depths are not preserved exactly. Animated images and SVG are not supported. PNG conversion can increase file size.

Keep proportions / Fit within an area
Aspect ratio preserved. Changing one dimension updates the other. Fits inside these maximum dimensions without cropping. The actual size appears below. Fills the chosen shape by cropping the edges. Enable enlargement to exceed the original size.
My output is larger than expected
Prepare a 1200-pixel photo for a newsletter. Dimensions and file size are different. PNG preserves detail but can be larger than JPG. Try JPEG or WebP with a lower quality setting for photos. Compare the actual size shown before downloading.
