How it works
Extract dominant colors from a photo as reusable HEX and RGB values. Transparent pixels are ignored. Choose the source image, check the preview and settings, then process it. Download the result after checking its format and dimensions.
Example
Photo → #246649, #D9E8D1, #F8FAF7 (your colors depend on your photo)
When to use this tool
Build a mood board around the colors in a photo.
Supported formats & limits
Static JPEG, PNG, WebP and browser-decodable AVIF; HEIC/HEIF uses a locally loaded WASM decoder. Up to 20 MiB per image, 24 megapixels, 20 files sequentially. Lower limits apply on limited devices. Re-encoding removes source metadata; color profiles, HDR, and high bit depths are not preserved exactly. Animated images and SVG are not supported. PNG conversion can increase file size.

My output is larger than expected
Build a mood board around the colors in a photo. Dimensions and file size are different. PNG preserves detail but can be larger than JPG. Try JPEG or WebP with a lower quality setting for photos. Compare the actual size shown before downloading.
